We were lucky to have a keg of COOP ale beer to enjoy and to have had Lumenate generously agree to sponsor the meeting and provide pizza and desert.

July Meeting – Modern Package Management
Posted on June 22nd, 2009We will hold our monthy meeting Friday, July 10th at 7pm at The Oklahoma City Coworking Collaborative. Michael Beam from Stuph Labs will be presenting a talk entitled “Modern Package Management”. He will discuss how to keep you packages up to date and synchronized with the modern package management systems YUM and Aptitude. Derrick Parkhurst will show you how to launch a Ruby on Rails website in under 10 minutes. Beer and soda will be provided. A Linux based LAN gaming contest will also be held so bring your PC and practice up on your bzflag.
First Meeting – Friday June 12th

Beer and soda will be provided. We’ll finish up evening with a little Linux based LAN gaming. Bring your PC!
Ubuntu Day
